Pauline M. (Larsen) Gabrielli

Biography
HOLDEN – Pauline M. (Larsen) Gabrielli, 95, of Holden passed away peacefully at Knollwood Nursing Center in Worcester on Thursday, September 28, 2017.   She was born in Holden, a daughter of Einar A. and Ida (Hultin) Larsen, and was a graduate of Holden High School, class of 1940. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Leo J. Gabrielli, who died in 1979; and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her sons, Brian J. Gabrielli and his wife, Cynthia of Jefferson and John D. Gabrielli of Sommerset, KY; her two daughters, Robin B. Hanson and her husband, Paul of Holden and Ann M. Williams and her husband, Richard of Rutland; her four grandchildren, Sean, Carlin, Sam and Emily Gabrielli; and her great-granddaughter, Bergen Rain O'Folan.  She also leaves a sister, Nancy Atkins of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Robert Larsen of Holden predeceased her. Pauline was a active member of Chaffin Congregational Church and volunteered at their fall social and bake sales.  She loved working around her yard and cooking for the holidays. Most of all, Pauline had a nurturing soul and was dedicated to her family. Her family would like to thank the staff at Knollwood Nursing Center for their kindness and support Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Pauline's family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 9, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10, in the Chaffin Congregational Church in Holden.  Interment will follow in Grove Cemetery, Holden.  Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Chaffin Congregational Church, 155 Shrewsbury St., Holden, MA 01520.
