Biography
BOCA RATON – Paula Sue (Edison) Cotton, 79, of Boca Raton, Florida, died on Thursday, September 17, in the Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Florida.
She leaves her husband of 59 years, Stanley Cotton; a son, Michael Cotton and his wife, Gina of Scottsdale, Arizona and Northborough; a daughter, Ina, wife of Cliff Stearns of Northborough; his grandchildren, Taylor, wife of Nathan, Rose, Julie Cotton, Jack Cotton, Alyssa, wife of Tim Giacamino, Jodi, wife of James Curley-Egan, Andrew Stearns, Ben Stearns, and Michael Cooley. She was predeceased by her brother Michael Edison.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Robert and Ethel (Riversman) Edison and had moved to Boca Raton, Florida 25 years ago.
She owned and operated an insurance agency for many years. She was a longtime member of Beth Israel Synagogue and Mount Pleasant Country Club. She was a member of Boca Largo Country Club.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11:00AM ON MONDAY SEPTEMBER 21ST IN BETH ISRAEL SYNAGOGUE ON JAMESBURY DRIVE, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will be in B’nai Brith Cemetery.
Due to the observance of Yom Kippur, Memorial Observance will be held Monday afternoon through Monday evening September 21st at Bigelow Farms Clubhouse on Lydias Way in Northborough. Minyan Service will be held at 6:30pm.
