RUTLAND – Paula J. (Holcombe) Timinski, 62, of Maple Avenue, died surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.
She is survived by two sons, Edward W. Timinski and his wife Jennifer of Douglas and Eric W. Timinski and his wife Krystal of Londonderry, NH; a granddaughter, Temple Timinski; two sisters, Donna Randall of Plantsville, CT and Susan Davis of Madison, CT; several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Paula was born and raised in Simsbury, CT, daughter of Whitney and Dorothy (Freytag) Holcombe, and has lived in Rutland since 1984. She graduated Simsbury High School, Salem State College and attended Endicott College.
She worked as an instructional aide at South High School in Worcester for the last 15 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Rutland, the Holden Grange, board member and former secretary of the Rutland Lion's Club. She was a volunteer at the NEADS Program in Princeton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 22nd, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 23rd, in St. Patrick's Church, 290 Main Street, Rutland. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Simsbury, CT.
