June 30, 1942 — August 2, 2018

HOLDEN - Paul A. Moreau, 76, died unexpectedly at home in the presence of his loving family on Thursday, August 2, 2018. He was born in Worcester, the son of Jerry and Mildred (Juskvitch) Moreau and had lived in Holden for 29 years. Paul graduated from Worcester Boy's Trade School with the class of 1960. He went on to pursue his passion for specialized wood working and cabinet making by founding Adam Paul Merchandising which he owned and operated for over 50 years. Paul was known for his tireless work ethic, often working well into the night to perfect a job. He was fearless in his 14 year battle with PSP and his efforts to find a cure. Paul leaves many dear friends he had made worldwide through his work with the PSP Foundation. He loved cooking, family trips to Saratoga and Lake George, NY and tending to his vegetable garden. Paul adored animals and had treasured the bond he shared with his late dog, Charlie. Above all he cherished his family and will be missed as beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife 36 years, Maureen M. Moreau; his beloved children, Christopher Moreau and his wife, Donna of Cherry Valley, Kathy Zalenski and her husband, Sandi of Rutland, Susan De Laet and her husband, Rick of Cummings, GA, Paul Moreau Jr. and his wife, Christine of Worcester and Adam Moreau of Holden; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Sheila Moreau of Holden.
