STERLING – Paul “BiB” M. LeBlanc, 62, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 after an illness. He was born and raised in Fitchburg, the son of Maurice J. and Bertha M. (Bastache) LeBlanc and had lived in Sterling since 1971.
He leaves two sons, Chris LeBlanc of Sterling and Greg LeBlanc and his wife, Jennifer of Fitchburg; three sisters, Phyllis Cheeseman and her husband, John of Hinesburg, VT, Betty Nikander and her husband, John of Fitchburg and Susan Landry and her husband, Michael of Aboujagane, N.B. Canada; two granddaughters, Danica LeBlanc and Jessica Duchnowski; a daughter-in-law, Cary LeBlanc of Gardner; his former wife, Donna J. (Arbo) LeBlanc of Fitchburg; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Joseph LeBlanc.
BiB owned and operated Town Line Garage in Princeton and for the past twenty-one years has run BiB’s Auto Repair in Sterling with his son, Chris. He enjoyed working on and restoring old cars and antique hot rods, was an avid NASCAR fan, traveling to Daytona and local race tracks for races and attending local car shows.
The family would like to thank Health Alliance Home Health and Hospice for their care and compassion provided to BiB during his illness.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 27, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. Funeral services for BiB will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, April 28, in the funeral home followed by a committal service at Hillside Cemetery in Sterling. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Town of Sterling Fire Department, Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 515, Sterling, MA 01564.
