Paul Thomas Mcdermott

March 21, 1969 — August 15, 2012

HOLDEN - Paul Thomas McDermott, Jr., 43, of Holden passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 with family at his side. Paul leaves behind his wife of 16 years – Kerry, his beloved son - Raymond, his parents – Barbara and Paul, his brother – Scott and wife Jessica, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.



Paul was born and grew up in Worcester. He graduated from St. Peter Marian High School and earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in business from Assumption College. After working in the printing industry for many years at Eusey Press/Quebecor, Paul enjoyed working at Polar Beverages for the past several years.



An avid reader of history, Paul also greatly enjoyed the outdoors and sports especially with his son, Ray. Travelling was another passion that Paul pursued with his family. Time with family and friends was always a priority for Paul. These times included visits to many beaches, Patriots and Red Sox games, skiing and golf.



Paul was a wonderful, caring father, loving husband, and very special son and brother. He was a loyal friend that will be greatly missed.



Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In remembrance of Paul’s life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 20, at St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson, followed by a committal service at Grove Cemetery, 1296 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden.
