WORCESTER – Paul E. Langill, 88, died on Monday, November 11, 2013 under the care of his loving family. Paul was born and raised in Shrewsbury, the son of George and Ida (Gibson) Langill and lived most of his life in Worcester.
His loving wife of 46 years, Phyllis M. (Monks) Langill, predeceased him in 1998. Paul leaves two daughters, Julie G. Belmonte and her husband, Nicholas and Beth A. Boyce and her husband, David; his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Paul graduated from Shrewsbury High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II, serving his country aboard the USS Burke. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he worked for Coppus Engineering Co., Western Auto and 40 years for the Heald Machine Co. in Worcester, retiring as a salesman. He attended the First Presbyterian Church in Worcester where he had many dear friends. Paul enjoyed camping and working on projects in the houses he owned over the years in Worcester.
