WEST BOYLSTON – Paul M. Desroches, 81, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester after an illness.
He leaves his loving wife of 60 years, Ann M. (Dellasanta) Desroches; five daughters, Diana Henchey and her companion Roderick Beaton of Shrewsbury, Pauline Mullen of Boylston, Denise Inman and her husband Gilbert of Norway, ME, Doreen Desroches and her companion Chuck Thorng of Barre and Irene Caruso and her husband Michael of Rutland; a brother, Arthur Desroches, Jr.; two sisters, Barbara Klojzy and Linda Creed; five grandchildren, Christopher Henchey and his wife Andrea, Heather Christensen and her husband Heath, Paul Inman, Courtney Mullen and Luke Inman; a great-granddaughter, Eva Henchey; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, Herbert and Edward Desroches and two sisters, Dorothy Atkins and Agnes Smola.
Born and raised in Holden, has the son of Arthur and Cecilia (Casper) Desroches and served his country in the U.S. Navy. Paul co-owned and operated Capa Corporation for forty years. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and traveling “South”.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, September 30, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A funeral service for Paul will be held on Tuesday, October 1, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a committal service at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Church Street, West Boylston.
