BRIGHTON – Paul D. Berg, 62, died peacefully at home on Sunday, February 8, 2015 following a period of declining health. He was born in Worcester, a son of the late Henry L. and Bernice I. (Trotter) Berg.
Paul was raised in Holden and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1970. He then went on to receive both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Emerson College in Boston. Paul spent many years in the local cable access television industry. He worked with the City of Long Beach, CA Cable Access Program before moving to the Newton, Massachusetts’ NewTV (Newton Media Center) where he worked as a director. He received a cable “Ace” award for a story that he produced.
Paul leaves his brother, Alan R. Berg and his wife, Jean of Holden; an uncle, Herbert E. Berg of Worcester; two cousins, Marilyn Piusz of Johnstown, NY and Janice Berg of Sutton; as well as two nieces, Laura Dubrule and Michelle Dubrule.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service honoring Paul’s life on Thursday, February 12, at 12 noon at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
