RUTLAND - Patrick E. Hayden, 55, of Maple Avenue, Rutland, died Sunday, June 3, 2007 in Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, in Lebanon, NH after a sudden illness.
He leaves his wife of 36 years, Sally M. (Beckwith) Hayden; two daughters, Melissa F. Puliafico and her husband Steven, and Carrie H. Mota and her husband Oscar all of Rutland; two brothers, Michael A. Hayden of Rutland, and Francis B. Hayden of North Brookfield; three grandchildren, Carson, Grace and Sarah; and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Holden, the son of Francis B. and Lorena E. (Fitzpatrick) Hayden.
Mr. Hayden worked for Wyman-Gordon in Grafton for 29 years. He was a longtime member of the Steelworkers Union and the Rutland Sportsmans Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and relaxing at Lake Ossipee in New Hampshire.
The funeral service for Patrick will be held at 11 am, on Friday, June 8th, in the First Congregational Church of Rutland, 264 Main Street, Rutland. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, Rutland. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 7th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden.
