Biography
WORCESTER - Patricia A. (Splane) Woodland, 72, passed away on April 10, 2015 at UMass Memorial Healthcare University Campus after an illness. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Clarence J. Sr. and Rita A. (Booden) Splane and was a member of the former St. Charles Borromeo Church in Worcester.
She leaves her husband, Robert D. Woodland of Worcester; two brothers, Joseph D. Splane of Charlton and Clarence J. Splane, Jr. of Worcester; and a nephew and a niece.
A funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place – West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
