“I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck” was the well-known expression used by Pamela Dickman to those she loved, which was many. Pamela “Pam” Dickman’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Pam passed in peace, unexpectedly on July 20, 2022, at the age of 62. She was a caring wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend. Her life was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
She was born to Robert “Bobby” Frongillo and Claire Madden on April 20,1960. Pam married the love of her life Richard Dickman in 1990 and they built their life in Oakham, Massachusetts. They had 3 beautiful children; Nicholas, Brian, and Ninarose. Pam adored her 4 grandchildren; David, Jacob, Natalie, and Jack.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Pam. She loved a quiet evening with family and friends with a bag of swedish fish in hand. Pam was an amazing host who loved spending time in the kitchen, creating incredibly delicious meals for her family. Pam found beauty in the spring wildflowers and gardening. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her loving heart and pleasant personality were contagious to everyone she met. Pam was an adored chef in her local area and known best for feeding the souls of strangers and friends alike in Vinny’s Restaurant, Vals Restaurant & Pizza, and Pizza Palace.
Pam is survived by her husband, Richard; her sons, Nicholas and Brian; her daughter, Ninarose; her son-in-law, Brian; her 4 grandchildren, David, Jacob, Natalie, and Jack; 3 sisters, Patricia, Paula, and Darnell; 2 brothers, Robert and Billy (Buchyn); her mother-in-law, Shirley Dickman; her sister-in-law, Ruth Hemenway; her brother-in-law Jeffrey Dickman; and many step-brother/sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation
