JEFFERSON - Pamela Joy (Colpitts) Demko, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Her husband Paul Demko, Jr. predeceased her in July of 2023.
Born in Arlington, MA, she was the daughter of the late Donald A. and Madge (Browning Banta) Colpitts. The “Mighty Pamela” grew up in Lexington, MA, and graduated from Lexington High School in 1964. She went on to continue her education, further graduating from Lasell Junior College in 1966, UMASS Boston in 1972, and Mass General Hospital School of Nursing in 1980.
Pamela is survived by her beloved children Peter C. Demko and his wife Carrie M. Demko, Paulie C. Demko, stepson, Zachary Demko, her sister Penny, and brothers Paul and Peter Colpitts.
Pamela was known for her unwavering devotion to her family, her love of animals, and her true talent for sculpting natural landscapes with only her hands and a trowel.
A Celebration of Life will take place in Spring, 2024. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Seven Hills Foundation of Worcester, MA.
