HOLDEN – Olive I. (Vancelette) Eld, 92, a long time resident of Holden, died Tuesday, February 3, 2004, in the Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in West Boylston.
Her husband of 48 years, William T. Eld, died in 1995. She leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah J. and Stephen J. Daman of Bolton; three grandchildren, Nathan D., Laura E. and Hannah C. Daman, all of Bolton; a sister, Elinor Bottcher, a nephew, David Bottcher, and a cousin, Anne Cappuccio, all of Holden. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Alfred and Laura (Geroux) Vancelette and lived in Holden for 48 years. She was a member of the Holden Chapel, The Women’s Aglow and taught bible study at local nursing homes.
The funeral service for Mrs. Eld will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2004, in the Holden Chapel, 279 Reservoir Street (Rte. 31), Holden. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Holden, in the spring. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers.
