Worcester - Norman S. Emmons, 65, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Norman was born in Worcester, the son of Edward C. and Rita M. (Brigham) Emmons spent the majority of his life as a Worcester resident.
Norman graduated from Saint John's High School and attended Worcester State University. He married his one true love, Margaret M. (Boland) and the couple shared 41 wonderful years of marriage. Norman began working at Henry's Hobby House in West Boylston while still in High School. He acquired the business and was Proprietor for 22 years. More recently, Norman worked as Quality Engineer for Jabil Corp. in Clinton. Norman was mechanically gifted and had a keen eye for detail. He took pride in his home, yard and the maintenance of his boats, cars and especially his motorcycles. Above all he was a devoted husband, father and brother and he will be deeply missed.
Norman is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret M. (Boland) Emmons; his son, Casey Emmons and his partner, Alyssa Cardello of Waltham; and his brother, Richard Emmons and his wife, Deborah of Holden. They would like to extend their deepest gratitude towards the medical staff, family and friends that helped them, and specifically Norman through the difficult years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial Calling Hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Rd., Sterling. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to a charity of one's choosing.
