Biography
HOLDEN – Norma C. (Storey) Karsberg passed away peacefully at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in the presence of family on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. She was born in Worcester 95 years ago, a daughter of Francis and Ellen (Soderberg) Storey.
Norma graduated from Commerce High School. She worked at the Norton Company until she left to raise her family. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Worcester. Norma enjoyed oil painting, until she was forced to give it up by declining eyesight.
She leaves her husband of 65 years, Richard M. Karsberg; her two sons, Donald R. Karsberg of Worcester and Joel E. Karsberg and his wife, Jeanne of Medway; her daughter, Nancy D. Karsberg of Northborough; her four grandchildren, Christina Longo and her husband Christopher; and Evan, Leah and Brian Karsberg as well as four nieces. She was predeceased by her three siblings, Leonard Storey, Shirley Day and Janet Palmer.
A private graveside service was held for Norma at All Faith’s Cemetery, Worcester.
