STERLING - Norma B. (Carlson) Strang, 82, a long-time resident of Sterling, died peacefully on February 13, 2013, surrounded by her family.
Norma was born June 20, 1930 in Worcester. She and her late husband, Donald, settled in Sterling, raised four children and never missed the opportunity to throw a party. She was an avid sports fan of all New England teams. Norma’s last years in her home were made possible by the amazing friends and neighbors who loved her.
She is survived by her four children, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren with one on the way, and her brother.
Always the life of the party, Norma requested that no one mourn her loss, but instead celebrate her life at a party that will be held by her children in late June. At her request, no service will be held at this time.
Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling, is assisting the family with arrangements.
