HOLDEN – Nola J. (Beaulac) Viola Andrews, 72, of Jefferson, died peacefully in the presence of her loving family at the Lifecare Center of Leominster on Saturday March 1, 2014, after an illness. Born Leominster and raised in Fitchburg, Nola was the daughter of Edmond and Julia (Belanger) Beaulac and later lived in North Conway, NH, Franklin, NC, and Cape Coral FL before moving to Holden in 2006.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 26 years, Donald P. Andrews; her daughter, Natale V. Williams and her husband Michael of Gardner; two sons, Vincent J. Viola and his wife Lisa of Milton and Joseph D. Viola and his wife Hilary of Melrose; seven step-children, Elaine Ahearn and her husband David of Hampton Falls, NH, Lois Brodmerkle and her husband Robert of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Donald S. Andrews and his wife Sheri of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Derrick Andrews and his wife Kirsten of Westminster, Laura Amorino and her husband Joseph of Baldwinville, Linda Saco and her husband Robert of Exeter, NH, and Lisa Cummings and her husband David of Princeton; 27 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by two brothers, Denis and Edmond Beaulac and a sister, Beverly Jacques.
Nola graduated from Fitchburg High School and attended Fitchburg State College. She worked as a claims adjuster for several companies, including Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. and Fitchburg Mutual Insurance Co., where she worked until her retirement. An avid reader, her other interests included needle point, crossword puzzles, and spending time vacationing with her family on the coast of Maine.
A funeral service honoring Nola’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Interment will take place privately at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon. Memorial donations may be made to Summit Elder Care, 277 East Mountain St., Worcester 01606.
