WORCESTER- Niqe (Mihali) Danga, 86 , passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the residence of her son, Petraq surrounded by her family.
Born in Albania, Niqe was a daughter of the late Vangjo and Olga (Ilia) Mihali and lived in Worcester since 1993. She was a member of St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church in Worcester.
Niqe leaves her husband of 65 years, Kozma Danga; 2 sons, Petraq Danga and his wife, Eugenia and Ilir Danga and his wife, Brizida; 2 daughters, Vasilika Gjoka and her husband, Alqi and Adriana Papa and her husband, Alqi; a brother, Mihal Jano, and his daughters, Mariana Bellovoda and Jolanda Nurcellari ; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Niqe’s family on Monday, November 26, from 4:00 -7:00 PM and again from 9:00 – 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 27, in St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street, Worcester. The funeral service will commence at 10:00 AM in the church with the Rev. Fr. Timothy Lowe Officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
