HOLDEN - Nell M. Geene, 91, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018. She worked in New York City for a New York newspaper and later for accountants in New Jersey. She married A. David Geene and had two sons, David and Mark.
Nell and her husband moved to Massachusetts and lived there for 25 years. They attended and served at Baptist Temple in Fall River and later at East Longmeadow Baptist in East Longmeadow. They retired in a retirement village in South Jersey where they attended and served at Crestwood Evangelical Congregational Church in Whiting. In addition to her sons, Nell has six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Nell was a Christian and we are thankful for her faith and love.
Funeral arrangements are private and under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Memorial donations may be made to the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
