Neide M. (De Jesus) Lampson

RUTLAND – Neide M. (de Jesus) Lampson, 45, of Rutland, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 2, 2017. She leaves a legacy of love and devotion. Neide was born and raised in Ipatinga, Brazil before moving to the United States in 2004.
She will be affectionately remembered and missed by her husband of 11 years, Joseph Lampson; her children, Samuel Da Cruz, Maxwell and Kiara Lampson all of Rutland; her mother, Noemia Maria de Jesus of Brazil; two brothers, Jose Luis de Andrade and Robson Cilis Alves de Andrade of Brazil; three sisters, Maria Vilma de Jesus, Maria Lucia de Jesus and Helena Nazare de Jesus all of Brazil; her father and mother-in-law, Paul and Jean Lampson of Rutland; nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her father, Geraldo Alves de Andrade.
Neide was educated in Brazil and worked as a secretary at a local university. Shortly after moving to Worcester, Neide fell in love with a man from Rutland by the name of Joe Lampson. They married on August 26, 2006 and resided in Rutland with their three children until her untimely passing last Sunday. Regardless of what Neide was involved with, she did it tirelessly and with a great sense of determination. She and her husband Joe owned and operated Lampson Cleaning Service in Rutland for the many years. Her life was centered in  faith and family. She attended church whenever possible and was an incredibly devoted wife, mother and daughter. She enjoyed the simple things in life including puttering around the house, crocheting and spending time with her family.
A funeral service honoring Neide’s life will be celebrated privately at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Interment will take place at Rural Cemetery in Rutland.
