Natalie Wells, 92, passed away in the very early morning hours on Christmas Day in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Southbridge, she was the daughter of the late John and Sylvia (Shippin) Wells.
Natalie was an English Setter lover and enjoyed attending numerous dog shows with her friends. She travelled the world and loved to share her adventures. She was a long-time member of the Oak Hill Country Club in Fitchburg where she had many friends. Natalie was an amazing furniture refinisher and art collector. She had an eye for all things beautiful and unique. Her gardens were amazing, something you would see in a magazine. She was a very good golfer and was known for planning her weekends around big tournaments on television. She enjoyed watching many sports, often with her dogs at her side. She was the best gift giver ever. She always had cards in the mail delivered on time for every holiday, and it was obvious they were carefully selected just for you.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her daughter, Jennifer Pickering and family friend, Tim Sullivan of Merrimack, NH; her son, Michael Pickering of Intervale, NH; and her two granddaughters, Colleen and Heather Pickering.
There are no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local animal shelter. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
