Nancy H. Stone

October 26, 1954 — March 21, 2022

Nancy Hewett Stone of Larchmont, New York, formerly of Wellesley, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2022, two years after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Nancy grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, the daughter of David and Marcia Hewett, attended Boston University and Wheelock College.

In 1980 she married Ralph Stone. Nancy leaves behind son Douglas and daughter-in-law Deborah, of Scarsdale, New York, son Jonathan of Denver, Colorado, and daughter, Elizabeth Stone-Zapata and son-in-law Sean Zepata of Oakland, Rhode Island. Nancy was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Nathaniel, Rebecca, Leah and Elijah Stone, and Diana Stone-Zepata. She also leaves her father David, a sister Susan and brother-in-law Mario Tota of Larchmont, New York, niece Sarah Tota, her brother Frank, sister-in-law Sheila, nephews Mark and Ben, as well as brother-in-law Daniel Stone, his wife Lynne Helfand, nephew Joshua Stone and niece Rachel Stone.

Services at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Rd., Wellesley, MA on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, Dedham Street, Sharon, MA. Memorial observance will be held at Temple Beth Elohim from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's memory may be made to the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund of Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Rd., Wellesley, MA 02482, Regional Hospice Center for Comfort Care & Healing, 30 Milestone Road, Danbury, CT 06810, or a charity of one's choice.
