Biography
WORCESTER – Nancy (Nore) Sadick, age 90, died on Monday, July 2, 2018 at UMass Memorial Healthcare. She was born in Worcester and was the daughter of Harold M. and Miriam (Chase) Nore.Nancy leaves her husband of 68 years, David W. Sadick; four children, Barbara Sadick and husband, Kenneth Goldman of Portsmouth, NH, Carol Sadick of New York City, Michael Sadick and wife, Nancy Halpin-Sadick of Fuquay Varina, NC and Jonathan Sadick and wife, Anne of Holden, MA. She also leaves four grandchildren: Stephanie and husband, Christopher Wilson, Benjamin Sadick and wife, Hyemi Ha, Jessica Sadick and husband, Thomas Woulfe, and Scott Sadick and wife, Molly; as well as three great grandchildren, Madeline Wilson, Lydia Wilson and Jennifer Sadick. She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Betty and David Kushner.Nancy was a graduate of Classical High School, Smith College (Cum Laude) and received a Masters Degree in Psychological Testing at Assumption College.She was a lifelong member of Temple Emanuel Sinai. She was an active volunteer with organizations including Worcester Historical Museum/Salisbury Mansion, Jewish Healthcare Center, Russian Jewish Resettlement, Hope Lodge, and ORT. She was an avid bridge player and devout Patriots and Red Sox fan.FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 12 NOON, TODAY, TUESDAY, JULY 3RD AT TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI, 661 SALISBURY STREET, WORCESTER, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will follow in B’Nai Brith Cemetery.Following interment, a Memorial Reception will be held today, Tuesday, July 3rd at Salisbury West Clubhouse, 770 Salisbury Street, Worcester. Memorial Observance will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd from 6 PM to 8 PM at the residence of Jonathan and Anne Sadick. Memorial Observance will continue on Wednesday, July 4th from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the Sadick residence.A Minyan service will be held at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, July 3rd and Wednesday, July 4th.Memorial Contributions may be made to the Worcester Historical Museum - Water Street 35th Anniversary Exhibit, 30 Elm Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
