Nancy M. Hendrickson

Holden/Rutland - Nancy M. (Rosenlund) Hendrickson, 88, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. Born in Worcester and raised in West Boylston, she was the daughter of the late Sven and Alice (Johnson) Rosenlund and attended West Boylston High School.

In 1954, Nancy married her beloved husband, Robert G. Hendrickson, Sr. and together they settled in Holden in 1961. Devoting many years to raising her children and creating a beautiful and loving home, Nancy was a dedicated member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Holden, where she leaves behind many dear friends. Family was the cornerstone of Nancy's life, and she took joy in planning numerous holiday gatherings and summer cookouts. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo with friends.
Above all, Nancy was especially proud to be a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Robert G. Hendrickson, Sr. in 2019. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her son, Robert G. Hendrickson, Jr., and his wife, Liz; her daughters, Robin Johns and her husband, Rob, and Tina Allaire and her husband, Jon all of Rutland; her son-in-law, Gary Christenson of NC; her grandchildren, Jason Johns, Giles Christenson, David Christenson, Joshua Johns, Heather Trudeau, Lyndsay Wornham, Paige Hendrickson, Lily Christenson, Callie Christenson, Iree Christenson, Jackson Allaire, Brayden Allaire, and Logan Allaire; seven great-grandchildren, Dillan, Hailey, Sierra, Savannah, Brynn, Penny and Henry; her brothers, Bob Rosenlund of West Boylston and Roger Rosenlund of Barre; her sister, Carol Nordquist of NH; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Bonnie Christenson and her granddaughter, Keysha Christenson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 346 Shrewsbury St., Holden. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery, Holden.
