Biography
WORCESTER - Myles White Lopatin, 80, of 101 Barry Road, died on Friday, September 19, 2014 at his residence.
He leaves his wife of 45 years, Lois (Aronson) Lopatin; a nephew, Sidney Lopatin of Denver, CO; a niece, Ellen, wife of Karl Tozzi of Ormand Beach, FL; a grandnephew and two great-grandnephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Solon Lopatin.
He was born in Worcester, son of Samuel and Grace (White) Lopatin, and lived 44 years in Worcester before living in Boston for 17 years, and later in Brookline for 17 years, returning to Worcester in January of 2013. For many years he owned and operated Myles Travel Bureau. He graduated from Worcester Academy and Brown University.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 3:00 PM ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, IN THE CHAPEL OF ADATH JESHURUN CEMETERY ON 350 GROVE STREET, WEST ROXBURY, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN.
Memorial Observance will be held 5:30 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 21, in the Sisterhood Room of Temple Emanuel Sinai, 280 May Street, Worcester, and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Monday, September 22, at his residence, 101 Barry Road, Worcester.
