Muriel (Weinbaum) Tharler

BOCA RATON, FL/LEOMINSTER - Muriel (Weinbaum) Tharler, 93, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Leominster, MA died on August 1, 2018.For 70 years she was the loving, devoted wife of the late Stanley Tharler who died in 2016. Muriel was the proud mother of Steven and Gary; grandmother of Scott, Marni and Jen; and she was the great-grandmother of Annabella, Caralyn and Stone. She was predeceased by her brother, Irwin Weinbaum.She was born in Bronx, New York and was the daughter of Solomon and Sophie (Katz) Weinbaum.Until the end, she was active, free and constantly in motion. Having earned a full scholarship at Boston University’s School of Music, she played and taught piano for many years. She loved most music (particularly Gershwin) and listening to Sinatra (and doing things her way).
