PAXTON/WORCESTER – Muriel C. (Logan) Fleming, 87, formerly of Worcester, passed away at home on Monday, February 20, 2017 after an illness. Born and raised in Worcester, Muriel was a daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude (Sanders) Logan and lived most of her life in Worcester before moving to Paxton in 2012 to live with her daughter. She was more than adored and considered the matriarch of her family. Her immeasurable devotion to her husband, children, and grandchildren was forever present through her loving guidance, patience, and understanding. Muriel looked forward to shopping with her sisters, camping at Cape Cod, spending time in Wells, Maine and vacationing at the family condo in the White Mountains. She enjoyed crafts, spending time with her friends, and was a dedicated Patriots and Red Sox fan. Muriel’s family would like to acknowledge and thank Hanifa Nantaba and the other aides for their years of long-time caregiving and friendship. Her beloved husband, David M. Fleming, Sr. died in 2001. She will be affectionately remembered and missed by her two sons, Paul R. Fleming of Southbridge and David M. Fleming, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth of Spencer; three daughters, Jody L.
