RUTLAND – Donald M. St. Onge, 84, of River Road, Rutland and Eustis, Florida, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester after an illness.
He leaves his wife of nine years, Dorine (Cormier) St. Onge; a daughter Donna; 3 stepdaughters, Bernice Robichaud, Joan Aucoin, and Jeannette LeBlanc all of Waltham; a stepson, Ronald Robichaud and a grandson, Shawn Robichard, both of Attleboro. He was predeceased by his first wife Rita, a brother Normand St. Onge, and a sister Claire Janaitis. He was born in Worcester the son of Leon and Ida (Christian) St. Onge and lived in Spencer most of his life before moving to Rutland.
Don worked as a crane operator for Wyman-Gordon in Grafton for over 40 years retiring in 1988 and most recently was employed by Robert L. McCarthy & Sons, Inc.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 24th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral for Don will be held on Monday, August 25th, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 258 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
