PAXTON – Winnifred M. (Pritchard) Blais, 105, of Union Street, Natick, formerly of Paxton, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 in the Mary Ann Morse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Natick, after an illness.
Her husband of 45years, John A. Blais, died in 1974. She leaves her son, John A. Blais, Jr. of Williamsburg, Virginia; a daughter, Nancy E. Bombino of Natick; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was born in Wethersfield, CT, daughter of Charles and Ellen (Coleman) Pritchard, and lived in Winthrop, then on Bel Arbor Drive in Paxton for 25 years before moving to Natick to live with her daughter 10 years ago. She worked as a secretary in the insurance industry for many years.
A graveside service for Mrs. Blais will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 13th, at Mooreland Cemetery, 251 Richards Avenue, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
