Eva M. (Pacenka) Gregoire

April 24, 1943 — August 1, 2009

HOLDEN - Eva M. (Pacenka) Gregoire, 66, died at the Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Saturday, August 1, 2009.

Eva leaves her former husband, Richard Gregoire, with whom she raised three children. She also leaves two sons, David W. Gregoire and his wife Sharon and Donald E. Gregoire all of Millbury; a daughter, Diane R. Gale and her husband Michael of North Grafton; a brother, Theodore Swantee of Thompson, CT; four sisters, Nancy Delibertis and Lorraine Carlisle both of Worcester, Tina Chaput of Louisiana and Cynthia St. Pierre of Grafton; and four grandchildren. Eva also leaves her companion of over twenty years, Paul Letendre, with whom she shared a loving relationship. Eva was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of John and Floris (McKissick) Pacenka, and has resided in Holden for the last 17 years.

Eva was a waitress at Friendly's in Worcester for ten years. She was a devoted mother, who enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
