HOLDEN – Frances M. (Natola) White, 64, of 61 Crestview Road, died peacefully at home in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, March 22, 2008.
She leaves her husband of 43 years, William A. White, Jr.; a son, William F. White and his wife Katherine of Holden; a daughter, Lisa Marie Pueschel and her husband Gregory of North Grafton; and two grandchildren, Emily Margaret and Molly Frances White. She was born in Holden, daughter of Michael and Fannie (Pascucci) Natola, and lived in West Boylston and Spencer before moving to Holden in 1964.
Fran graduated from West Boylston High School and worked for several area companies including Fortin's Market, Millbrook Distributors and Holden Video. She was a member of St. George's Church in Worcester where she was a committed adorer at the Eucharistic Chapel of Adoration.
Fran enjoyed antiquing, gardening and traveling with her husband to the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe. However, she found her greatest joy in her home surrounded by her family. Fran was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. It was these roles of which she was most proud.
The family would like to thank the many healthcare professionals who cared for Fran during her year-long battle, especially those at Commonwealth Hematology-Oncology, UMass Memorial Medical Center South 5 and VNA Care Hospice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. The funeral for Fran will be held on Thursday, March 27th, from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. George's Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1326 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The family suggests donations be made to St. George's Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester, MA 01606; or the Annual Fund at Saint John's High School (a fund for financial aid), 378 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
