STERLING – Mildred M. (MacGeoch) Clemence, 88, of Sterling, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2010 in the Overlook Masonic Home, Charlton.
Her husband of 56 years, Charles G. Clemence, died in 1999. She is survived by two sons, David B. Clemence of Las Cruces, New Mexico and William C. Clemence of Sterling. She was born on January 14, 1922 in Methuen, the daughter of James and Hazel (Tate) MacGeoch, and 30 years in Sterling and 25 years in Sarasota, Florida before moving to Charlton six years ago. She was a former member of Oakdale United Methodist Church in West Boylston.
A private graveside service will be held in Cookshire Cemetery, Sterling. Memorial donations may be made to Overlook Hospice Services, Davenport Building – 2nd Floor, 88 Masonic Home Road, Charlton, MA 01507. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
