Mitchell J. Dadah

May 28, 1961 — May 14, 2015

HOLDEN/WORCESTER - Mitchell J. Dadah, Jr., 53, died on Thursday, May 14, 2015, surrounded by his loving family after a recent battle with health issues which he faced with acceptance and a wonderful attitude. He was born in Worcester, the son of Mitchell and Elizabeth (Carberry) Dadah.

He is survived by his devoted mother and caretaker, with whom he lived; his four sisters, Jennifer Dadah of Holden, Susan Dadah of West Boylston, Jane Richard and her husband, Mark of Worcester and Jessica Perry and her husband, Timothy of Sutton; two brothers, John and his wife, Catherine and Mark and his wife, Diane all of Holden; an aunt, two uncles and many cousins. Uncle Mitch also leaves Katie, Jake, Emily, Leah, Molly, Nicole, Hannah, Ava, Shelby and Brandon. Mitch was predeceased by his father, Mitchell J. Dadah Sr., as well as his brother, Joseph.

Mitch graduated from North High School in Worcester. He continued his education at Quinsigamond Community College, where he earned his degree in Business Administration. Mitch worked for 17 years at the former Shawmut Bank, now Bank of America, until he reluctantly retired due to health issues. Slowly his body betrayed him and confined his movements but could not contain his big heart. Nieces and nephews always knew Uncle Mitch would call them to find out how they were doing in school and sports. Mitch enjoyed family gatherings, cookouts, the ocean and traveling, especially trips to Aruba, California, and Florida. His daily activities included keeping in touch with family and friends, music, sports, and watching Catholic programs on EWTN.

Mitch was a kind and compassionate man and will be greatly missed.
