Mildred grew up in the Grafton Hill section of Worcester and graduated from Commerce High School.   She went on to work for Reed and Prince Manufacturing in Worcester.  She married the love of her life, Chester R. Alexandrowicz, on March 6, 1943 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Worcester, with whom she shared over 66 years of marriage before he passed away in 2010.   The young couple moved to Chicago for a period before returning to Worcester, then settling in their home in West Boylston.

Mildred's life was centered around faith, family and community.  She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in West Boylston where she taught Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, was a member of the Women's Guild and served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years.  She worked at the West Boylston Municipal Pool and was the Cafeteria Manager at West Boylston High School for over 15 years, retiring in 1974.  Mildred was dedicated to her family and especially loved gatherings during the holidays and preparing authentic Polish food.  She loved sitting in her favorite rocking chair while watching the birds in her yard.  Mildred will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all.
