RUTLAND/NATICK – Mildred M. (Brady) Monaco, 82, of 112 W. Main St., formerly of Natick, died Thursday, September 8, 2005, in the Coleman House, Northborough after an illness.
She leaves two sons, Ronald L. Monaco of Lynnwood, Washington, and Bruce E. Monaco of South Yarmouth; a daughter, Lisa A. Campbell and her husband Glenn of Rutland, formerly of Natick; a sister, Mary Schaeffer of New Baltimore, Virginia; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and her former husband, Louis Monaco of Ashland. She was born in Niagra Falls, New York, daughter of Edgar and LuLu (Smith) Brady.
Mrs. Monaco, along with her husband, owned and operated Piccolos Pizza in Natick, Wellesley and Framingham and later worked 10 years as an Accounting Clerk for Sears, Roebuck & Co. in Natick retiring in 1985.
The funeral service for Mrs. Monaco will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, in the First Congregational Church of Rutland, 264 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. Burial will be private in Dell Park Cemetery, Pond Street, Natick. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, September 12, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
