STERLING – Michelina P. (Graziano) Wyrebek, 90, a longtime resident, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. She was born in Bristol, CT, the daughter of Antonio and Rosina (Rozzi) Graziano and graduated from Bristol High School in 1942.
Her husband of 62 years, Stanley Wyrebek, passed away in 2006. She leaves four sons, Bruce E. Wyrebek and his wife, Barbara of Southbridge, Gary M. Wyrebek and his wife, Marcy of Bristol, CT, William Wyrebek and his wife, Nancy of Leominster and Matthew Wyrebek of Gardner; four daughters, Diana R. Fontaine of Pembroke, Marian W. Cutroni and her husband, Richard of Spencer, Carole A. Carroll and her husband, Edward of Boulder, CO and Valerie Harring and her husband, Patrick of Marshfield; three sisters, Rose Michaud of Forestville, CT, Lucy Christopher of Bristol, CT and Elizabeth Pratt and her husband, Francis of Bristol, CT; a brother-in-law, Donald Kelly of Bristol, CT; a sister-in-law, Gloria Graziano of Waterbury, CT; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a daughter, Michele Wyrebek; three brothers, Antonio, Joseph and Philip Graziano and three sisters, Josephine Kelly, Antoinette Raffanello and Lisa Neal.
Michelina was a member of St. Richard of Chichester Church and its Women’s Guild, the Sterling Historical Society and enjoyed reading, gardening and loved to cook for her family. She was a loving mother who had a great sense of humor and will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. Funeral services for Michelina will be held from the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 14, with a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge Street, Sterling. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Clinton Road (Rte. 62), Sterling.
