Rutland – Michael R. Paddock, 58, passed away from a sudden illness on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. His beloved wife of 26 years, Pamela J. (Flagg) Paddock recently passed away on February 20.
Michael, son of Franklin and Nancy (Harmon) Paddock, was born in Worcester and raised on the family farm in Rutland. He graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree at Springfield College.
Michael enjoyed a long career in the steel fabrication industry, working for Wyman Gordon and Hitchiner Manufacturing Company.
Michael will be lovingly missed and remembered by his children, Michaella Paddock and her fiancé, Brian Story, Dylan Paddock, Rebecca Paddock and Jacob Paddock; his mother, Nancy Paddock; his brother, Peter Paddock and his wife, Dorothy; his sister, Pamela Paddock; and nieces and nephews including Joshua and Heather Paddock and Lia and Michael Borio. In addition to his wife, Pamela, he was also predeceased by his father, Franklin Paddock, who passed away in June, 2017.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Michael’s family on Monday, April 2 from 4 to 7 pm at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A funeral service honoring his life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 3 at 10 am.
