WORCESTER – Michael L. Morris, 45 of Worcester, died Friday, April 15, 2005 at his home following a brief illness.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Sheila F. (Dickman) Wykes of Holden and the late Robert Morris. He was also the stepson of the late Robert D. Wykes. In addition to his mother he is survived by two sisters, Diane Siemaszko of Holden and Carol Leslie of Worcester; one nephew and two nieces.
He grew up in Holden and had been a Worcester resident since 1986. He was a 1977 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. He was a former Boy Scout and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hiking and camping.
The funeral Mass for Mr. Morris will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 22, in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1325 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brudnick Neuro Psychiatric Research Institute, 303 Belmont Street, Room 107, Worcester, MA 01604.
