Michael J. Rasku

RUTLAND – Michael J. Rasku, 55, of Greendale Ave., Worcester, formerly of Rutland, went home to the Lord on Saturday, April 1, 2006 after a courageous struggle with lymphoma.

He leaves his wife and best friend of 25 years, Debra V. (Begonis) Rasku; his mother, I. Mary (Gedenberg) Rasku; two brothers, Paul and William; three sisters, Mary Pelton, Lois Chinigo and Evelyn Ramos; many nieces and nephews. Michael was born in Holden, the son of the late W. Arthur Rasku. He was a maintenance supervisor at Allmerica Financial in Worcester for 15 years.

A calling hour for Michael will be held on Thursday, April 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UMass Memorial Healthcare, Cancer Research Fund, 55 Lake Ave. North, Worcester MA 01655.
