West Boylston - Michael Christopher Fournier, 49, died Thursday morning, July 1, 2021, in his home after a long illness. He was born in Worcester, graduated from Burncoat High School, and was married to his late wife Kyra A. (Kalil) Fournier for 18 years before her passing in 2017.
He leaves three children, Annabelle C. Fournier, Michael J. Fournier, and Cecilia L. Fournier; he leaves his parents Michael A. Fournier and Christine Fournier; he leaves a brother, Christopher M. Fournier; he leaves his in-laws Carolann R. Hebb, mother of his late wife Kyra, Carisa A. Chila and Jessica L. Angers, sisters of his late wife; he leaves nieces Kiana, Cassie, Alexis, Vanessa, Zoe, and Sophie; and he leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by a brother, Kevin Fournier.
Michael was self-employed with a pool building and construction company. He enjoyed gardening and cultivation, playing air drums to The Beatles, and singing their songs off-key. He also enjoyed playing golf and Texas Hold’em. He loved to go on roller coasters, play skee ball at the arcade, and, most importantly, spending time having fun with his wife and kids. He will be remembered for being a goofball and his boisterous laugh.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center in Sterling.
