Biography
STERLING – Michael P. Coakley, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Clinton Hospital. He was born in Worcester and had lived in Sterling his whole life.
He leaves his mother, Noreen C. Coakley of Sterling; his uncle, James Coakley of Sterling; two aunts, Nancy Witek of West Boylston and Patricia Coakley of Sterling; and several cousins.
Michael graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1992 and attended Quinsigamond Community College. He was a truck driver for several years for area recycling companies. He enjoyed playing golf and snow skiing.
A funeral service for Michael will be held at 12 noon on Friday, October 18, in the Sterling Seventh-day Adventist Church, Route 12, Sterling. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Lancaster. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
