WORCESTER/PRINCETON – James M. Hebert, 38, of Tiverton Parkway, Worcester, died surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 23, 2009 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer.
He leaves his wife of 9 years, Van (Saphirak) Hebert; his son at home, Jacob M. Hebert; his father, James M. Hebert of Sebring, Florida; two sisters, Jennie L. Hebert of West Roxbury and Wendy J. Hebert of CT; and a close friend, Roger Williams of Sterling. He was born and raised in Holden, the son of the late Marilyn T. (Burns) Hebert, and lived in Princeton until moving to Worcester two years ago.
James graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and attended Quinsigamond Community College. He was a technician at Intel Corporation for the last four years. Previously he worked for Quantum Corporation. He enjoyed working on cars, electronics, camping and hiking.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 26th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A private graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29th, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Princeton.
