WORCESTER – Regina M. (Fornier) Berthiaume, 83, of Brattle Street, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 13, 2009, after a long illness.
Her husband of 62 years, Daniel I. Berthiaume died in April of 2007. She leaves her daughters, Joyce M. Trychon and her husband Ronald of Webster and Ann M. Smith and her husband Glen of Worcester; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great great-granddaughter; nephews and nieces. Her brother, Joseph Fornier, and two sisters, Rita Slavin and Lena Wisner, predeceased her.
Regina was born in Holden, a daughter of Francis and Della (Adams) Fornier, and lived in Worcester most of her life. She was a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church and dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She enjoyed bingo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 17th, in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Main St., Holden. Flowers may be sent or donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
