Melvyn B. Robbins

WORCESTER – Melvyn B. Robbins, 84, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 29,
2022. Born in Worcester, Mel was the son of Lewis and Goldie (Brodsky) Robbins and brother to Joan. He lived in Sutton for the past 50 years with his wife Virginia, and their family. He is a graduate of Bentley University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Mel worked as the administrator at Tri-River Healthcare in Uxbridge from which he retired in 2002.
Mel will be lovingly missed and remembered by his devoted wife of 51 years, Virginia
(Dompkowski) Robbins, and their children: Lewis P. Robbins and his wife, Love; Ann
Laskowski and her husband, Gerald; Marc Robbins and his wife, Sandie; Lynn
Robbins Paluzzi and her husband, Gary; Peter Robbins and his wife, Alexis; and several grandchildren: Dalton, Austin, Deanna and Savanna Laskowski; Samantha and Sayge Bilodeau; Virginia and Danette Paluzzi, Arianna and Charles Robbins; as well as his beloved nephew, Gary Gaffin and his wife, Joan along with their children Andrea and Ashley.
Mel enjoyed reading, bird watching, and was a WWII history buff. He also tremendously
enjoyed watching his sons play soccer for many years.
Mel’s family will gather for a private Graveside Funeral Service at New Howard
Cemetery in Sutton on December 2nd. Arrangements are provided by Miles Funeral
Home of Holden.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that Memorial Contributions be made to the
Alzheimer’s Association, 100 North Parkway, Suite #105, Worcester, MA 01605
(alz.org).
