S Velma M. (Corey) Bull

WORCESTER – Velma M. (Corey) Bull, 94, of Sears Island Dr., died peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2009 in the Lutheran Home of Worcester.

Her husband of 58 years, Arnold L. Bull, died in 1995. She leaves three sons, Leroy "Roy" G. Bull of Oxford, Raymond A. Bull of Worcester and Allen J. Bull of Boston; a sister, Lila Craig of Concord, NH; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born and raised in Westfield, Maine, the daughter of Jason and Lela (Perkins) Corey and lived there before moving to Worcester in 1940. Mrs. Bull worked for the former Forest Nursing Home in Worcester for many years. She was a member of Greendale People's Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 13th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14th, in the funeral home with burial following in Rural Cemetery, 180 Grove Street, Worcester.
