WORCESTER – Debra M. (Cepulonis) Tanona, of Worcester, died Thursday, December 3, 2009 in UMass Memorial Healthcare, Worcester, after a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 20 years, Jeffrey A. Tanona; aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. A brother, Carl J. Cepulonis predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of John P. and Aldona M. (Miskavich) Cepulonis and lived in Worcester her entire life. Debra was a graduate of Doherty Memorial High School and Clark University and worked as an engineer for Digital Equipment Corporation for five years. She was an outstanding gourmet cook. She loved all animals especially her beloved parrot of 26 years, Jobie, and her little dog, Hannah.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial for Debra will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9th, in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester. Memorial donations may be made to Neady Cats, Inc.
