HOLDEN, MA / HONOLULU, HI – Todd M. Carson, 49, of Honolulu, formerly of Holden, died on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, while hiking in the mountains in Hawaii.
He leaves his mother, Sherron D. (Ciociolo) Carson of Holden; his father, Ronald C. Carson of West Boylston; a sister, Tracy Matthes of California; a brother, Christopher Mercier of Florida; a grandfather, Rocco Ciociolo of Sterling; three aunts, Lana Ciociolo-Hinkell of Sterling, Dori Ciociolo of California and Kim Walters of Worcester; an uncle, Brad Carson of California; 3 nephews, a niece, several cousins; and Sherri Plutu with whom he lived. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Doris Ciociolo, George and Astrid Carson, and two aunts, Patricia Ciociolo and Lynn Powers.
Todd was born on February 16, 1961 in Worcester and was a 1979 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. He was a caring and loving son. He loved riding his motorcycle, hiking and thought Hawaii was paradise. He worked for the Transportation Security Administration for many years and enjoyed motorcycles and hiking.
Relatives and friends are invited to a calling hours from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 27th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden.
