Maxine Susan Moore

STERLING - Maxine S. (Fox) Moore 84, lovingly known as "Susie," passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, at her home in Sterling MA. She was born on May 7, 1940, in Clinton, MA to the late Max J. Fox and Marie B. (Laurens) Fox.

Maxine was a proud graduate of Clinton High School and a lifelong member of the Evangelical Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton. She had a deep and unwavering faith, trusting in Jesus Christ as her Savior. Maxine was an active member of the Ladies Aide Society and taught Sunday School.

She was a cub scout leader.

She opened her heart and home as a foster mother to many children over the years.

Maxine dedicated many years of her life working at Nypro in Clinton.

She is predeceased by her parents and her sister-in-law Sherry Fox.

Maxine is survived by her loving children, Jerry and his wife Victoria of Hillsboro, MO, Timothy and his wife Susan of Sterling MA. She also leaves her grandsons Brian and his wife Shayla, and Andrew and his wife Alyssa. Maxine greatest joy came from being a loving great grandmother to Jackson, Raylan, Sampson and Oliver.

She also leaves behind a younger brother John L. Fox of Florida.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. at Miles-Sterling Funeral & Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road Sterling, MA with her funeral service to follow immediately after. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Clinton MA at the convenience of the family.
