PRINCETON – Mary M. (Pender) Flagg, 86, of 73 Main Street, died at home on Friday, May 6, 2005, after an illness.
Her husband, Frederick H. Flagg, died in 1961. She leaves three sons, David M. Flagg of Sandwich, Philip H. Flagg of Worcester, and Mark L. Flagg of Beverly; a daughter, Jennifer M. Padilla of Las Cruces, New Mexico; three brothers, Lawrence F. Pender of Princeton, Thomas P. Pender of New York and Bernard A. Pender of Maine; and several grandchildren. Two brothers, James and Ambrose Pender, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Thomas J. and Margaret B. (Guilfoyle) Pender, graduated Commerce High School and has lived in Princeton since 1967.
Mrs. Flagg worked for Norton Company in Worcester for 35 years, retiring as a Customer Service Agent. She was a member of Prince of Peace Church and the Norton Retirees.
The funeral for Mrs. Flagg will be held on Wednesday, May 11, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Prince of Peace Church, 5 Worcester Road (Rte. 31), Princeton. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Connor Lane, Princeton. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, in the funeral home.
